Pixeter
Pixel art and animation, made easy. Claude Code can draw with you.
Pixeter is a free pixel art and animation studio that runs in the browser, built by Virat Kaukuntla. It has layers, a frame timeline with onion skin, pixel-perfect drawing tools, and GIF and spritesheet export. It also connects to Claude Code through a small local MCP server, so Claude can draw, animate and export sprites while you watch every stroke appear live.
What it does
- Pixel-perfect pencil, fill, shapes, dither, hue-shifting shade brush, selections and X/Y symmetry
- Layers with opacity, plus a timeline with onion skin, per-frame timing and ping-pong loops
- Export animated GIFs, PNGs at any scale, or spritesheets with JSON for Phaser, Godot and Unity
- Share a whole animation as a link: it lives in the URL, nothing is uploaded
- Claude Code connector with 10 tools, including ASCII-art sprites and letting Claude see your canvas
